GD32F103xx family of devices is a 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M3 RISC core that provides excellent price-performance ratio in terms of processing power, reduced power consumption, and peripherals. Cortex-M3 is a next-generation processor core with tight integration with nested vector interrupt controllers (nvic), SysTick timers, and advanced debugging support.
GD32F103xx series devices use a ARM-Cortex-M3 32-bit processor core and operate at 108 MHz, enabling zero-wait flash access for maximum efficiency. It provides up to 3MB of on-chip flash memory and up to 96KB of SRAM memory. Various enhanced I/O and peripheral devices are connected to the two APB buses. These devices provide up to three 12-bit adc, up to two 12-bit dac, up to ten general-purpose 16-bit timers, two basic timers and two PWM advanced control timers, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to three spi, two I2C, three USART, two UART, two I2S, one USB 2.0 FS, one CAN and one SDIO.
The device operates in an operating voltage of 2.6V to 3.6V and a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. Several power-saving modes provide flexibility for maximum optimization between wake-up delay and power consumption, which is a particularly important consideration in low-power applications.
